AA 4* Guest House in Southend with 20 bedrooms and 6 Self-Catering Apartments, near Southend Pier& Cliffs Pavilion

Small Hotel but well formed
Hotel in lovely quiet position. Close to the seafront for that early morning stroll. It is a 10 minute stroll to Southend High street for shops, pubs and restaurants. I was upgraded to a double room at the back of the hotel. It was clean and had enough room for two people easily. The room was clean and well laid out. Breakfast is buffet style and has plenty for all. A pleasant stay.
My only problem is that the car park has limited spaces, and you have to be quick or early to make sure you get in. On street parking is plentiful but it is a residential area, so this is a bit hit and miss. Reviewed by David R From England

+ All of the staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. they were also very knowledgeable about the local area, which in many hotels these days is somewhat lacking. + When we arrived at this hotel, we thought it looked ok, so we were surprised when we went in and our room was fantastic. The food was great, with plenty of choice. All the staff seemed really nice too.
