Where the Hotel is located?

Situated in Southend’s peaceful and picturesque conservation area, the Ilfracombe House Hotel is ideally situated adjacent to the seafront promenade, and just a few minutes walk from either Southend High Street, the famous Southend Pier, Peter Pans Adventure Island, or the popular Cliffs Pavilion Theatre. Both train stations – ‘Southend Victoria’ and ‘Southend Central’ are 10-15 min walk from the hotel.

The Hotel is also conveniently located for guests visiting the business areas in and around Southend Town Centre, Victoria Avenue and for the new Southend University.

How to get to SOUTHEND?

Via the A127 follow the signs to the town centre and turn to A13 London Road at the end of Victoria Avenue. From London Road (A13) turn at the Cricketers Pub into Milton Road. Milton Road follows with Cambridge Road, then third on the right is Wilson Road, just before a mini roundabout. Our own car park may be found to the rear of the Ilfracombe Hotel in Alexandra Road
To Southend Central station (via C2C Fenchurch Street Line) or to Southend Victoria (via – Liverpool Street Line). Both stations are within walking distance of the hotel or only 2 minutes by taxi. (01702 334455) (01702 345678)

Our Car Park can be found at the rear of the hotel in Alexandra Road and it is free of charge. Parking is not guaranteed, it is on first come first serve basis but there are plenty of free spaces around the hotel.
